Music and sounds of Paul Hubiss

Paul Hubiss belongs to the most distinctive czech DJs and producers. He founded the music portal Xbeats Records and he has created for example the live-act called Southeast that recorded a world wide succes with the hit Brazilian Heat on Frisbee label. Paul is devoted to promoting as well, he organizes parties under the baton of Xbeats since 1998.

The name of DJ Hubiss has entered the scene already two years earlier so Paul can be rightfully ranked among the pioneers of czech club music. DJ duo of Mischa & Hubiss has enjoyed a great popularity even behind the czech borders in the golden era of techno. Their brisk sets from 4 decks were putting hands of excited partypeople up in the air on many prestigious gigs.

Since 1998 Paul Hubiss focused on music production activities as well and surrounded himself with a strange world of hardware and software instruments for making electronic music, that became his life. His recent equipment includes Ableton and Logic Studio on Mac platform, NI Maschine, a selection of controllers and other software. Paul puts a big piece of his heart into every track and that is the reason why his music will leave its mark in your memory and you will not get it out of your head. His tunes can be found on many prestigious compilations and on his own separate copyright acts.

At the same time Paul does not forget to organize parties or to mix current sound that he enjoys the most - a mixture of tech-house and techno made for a dance floor. Since 1996 he performed on countless parties not only in Czech, to name for example Summer of Love, Apokalypsa, Citadela or Boomerang. He has performed in differet radio shows too and also in the Frisbee show on the TV station Óčko. His series about Ableton in the XMAG magazine became well known as well.
