Music and sounds of Paul Newman

Over the years as a professional broadcaster, Paul Newman has worked with the best in the business, but sad to admit not much of that talent rubbed off on him! But he doesn't give up, having been heard on FOX FM, Chiltern, Smooth London, Southern FM, Capital Gold (South) and BRMB/XTRA amongst others.

As well as radio, Paul has a lot of experience in outside broadcasts and events, river cruises, compere and commentator and was once booked to provide the music entertainment at Lionel Richie's after-concert party at Wembley arena, but sadly on that occasion the great man never showed up.

Since 2011, Paul broadcasts from his own professionally built studio and has been heard on stations like Radio Caroline's cousin - Radio Seagull (think of the film "The Boat That Rocked"), Nova Spain, Mi Amigo and most notably an eight year tenure at Solar Radio where he became known as the "Soul Provider" with Binky Womack, from the legendary Womack family, as his show sponsor - and now found on Starpoint Radio as your Saturday Soul Provider (9-11am).

Paul has interviewed and put together specially produced features on numerous soul stars including Melba Moore, Alexander O'Neal, Rena Scott, Martha High (James Brown), Bill Sharpe from Shakatak, Hil St. Soul, Georgie B, Candace Woodson, Friendly Womack (the last surviving Valentino) amongst others and plenty more features to come.
