Opus III 'It's a Fine Day' - Danny Kaye (UK) Rework - *DOWNLOAD*

My first track of the year and it's a rework of one of my favourite tunes from the 90's and, it's a stone cold classic... Opus III's 'It's a Fine Day' featuring the awesome vocals of Kirsty Hawkshaw.

This song was originally written in 1983 by English poet and musician, Edward Barton, and was first recorded in a capella form by his girlfriend, Jane. It then received radio air play by DJ John Peel and was heard by Iain McNay of Cherry Red Records, who quickly bought the rights to the song and released it on his own label.

In 1992 it was covered by Opus III with the vocals of Kirsty Hawkshaw and was their debut release and the first release from their album, Mind Fruit, of the same year. It reached No.5 in the UK, No.1 in Greece and on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.

I'm giving away my rework as a free download.
