#Top5TechnoSets – Week 3

Here are my top 5 techno sets that I have been listening to this week…

1. Children of The Night Podcast #13 by Jenni Zimnol on MindBug - SoundCloud
   This is a brilliant set – it starts with some beautifully floaty techno and then builds from there…it’s got some darker techno moments and some quality retro trance vibes as well. Great energy and top-quality mixing.

2. Mi.a.tech - Techno Bubble 255 – MixCloud
   This is the best techno I’ve heard for ages - Mi.a.tech has uploaded literally ‘00s of set in the last few days, and they’re all top quality, but this one is pure class…!! It rolls and rumbles along at a great pace and with excellent mixing and brilliant techno tunes….nice.

3. The 909 RIOT Act #18 (Hard Techno for Techno Pulse Extra #70) - MixCloud
   This is just plain having it…!! Hard, dark and acidic – what more could you want…? This is not a set to listen to when trying to relax or concentrate – only recommended for periods of intense movement…!!

4. TECHNOVISION - Ste Ellis- TECHNO CONNECTION – MixCloud
   A great set of stomping techno – exactly what I like. Brilliant at low volume, ‘cause its pure class, but even better up f-ing loud…!! This is the set that inspired the set I recorded this week.

5. Rowland the Bastard - Techno set - Brothers Grim - We speak Techno – YouTube
   This was actually recorded last year, but I only found it this week – OMG this takes me back…!! A total legend playing my favorite kind of techno – percussive and unrelenting techno that compels you to leap about – I bloody love this set. My next techno set will be a tribute to this – watch this space.
